3 Months

Height: 24.5 inches
Weight: 14 pounds

I know I sound like a broken record, but I really can't believe that you're already 3 months old. Seriously. It feels like time goes about 100 times faster with your second child!! While I already miss the tiny newborn you, it has been fun to see your little personality start to emerge. You still have the sweetest nature, but you definitely let us know when you're not happy (which is typically only when you're hungry). You love babbling back and forth and get quite animated with your conversations. I hope you always enjoy chatting with me so much!

Daddy and I continue to be amazed (and eternally grateful) by what a awesome sleeper you are. Most days you sleep from about 9 or 10pm until about 7 or 8am! I even have to wake you up some mornings so that I have time to nurse you before bringing Jax to school. We have NEVER had to wake your brother up. It seems that you like to sleep in like your mommy, while Jax and daddy are early birds.... You don't really have a predictable nap schedule- you tend to just take little cat naps here and there- but I'll take it, as long as your awesome night time sleep continues.

You continue to grow like a weed and eat constantly! You're already wearing 6 month clothes and have officially grown out of your little puj tub.

You're getting really strong, too. You can push up on your arms a little bit now and really lift your head up high. (Mommy was really excited to have another angle for picture taking).

We are well into a beautiful Fall. The leaves this year have been stunning and the weather has been really nice, so we've been getting out to enjoy as much as we can! We went to Minnetonka Orchards...

...Severs Corn Maze (where you slept while Jackson played in a corn pit, rode on a giant slide, watched a pig race, and jumped on a giant air pillow)...

... and the Arboretum (several times). Grammy White even took off of work one day and joined us.
It has been so much fun including you in all of our fall family traditions! Speaking of traditions, I'll end this month's post with a picture of you wearing a sweater knit by your maternal great-great-grandma and lying on a blanket knit by your paternal great-grandma. I know they're both watching over you.

Happy 3 months, sweetheart!

Love, Mom
